“Gautama would not have become Buddha if it was not for the teachers”

“A Prince would not have become a king if it was not the Teachers”
“A boy would not have become a man if it was not for the teacher”
“A person would not have seen the world if it was not for the teacher”
“I would not have come in front if it was not the teachers”
 

Oh teachers, wonders in the world
Teachers have a heart of gold
Meant for each and every person.
Without teachers, the world would be empty
Empty of wise and learned people

Oh teachers, wonders in the world
Teachers are the bridges for the students
To cross the obstacles for a brighter future.
They are the torch and the walking stick
For a old man in the dark.

Oh teachers, wonders in the world
They are the captains of the ship
The ship sailing far away
From the world of ignorance and innocence
To a world of beautiful future

Oh teachers, wonders in the world
They have held our hands in theirs
To form a letter, a word and a sentence.
They have been puppet and jokers
Just to make us learn with fun.

Oh teachers, wonders in the world
We know our words will never be enough
To express what you have done for us
And the things you will do for us
Yet I shall take leave

Oh teachers, wonders in the world
May you lead countless
To the world of wise and intellect
May you live long
And brighten the world and make it a better place.

 Luck is what we think we deserve to have every time but it is otherwise. People seek interference of seen and unseen forces in hope to have the tinniest fraction of luck. Luck, in laymen term can be defined as absence of bad things happening. according to Chophel (2018),  Kharam means ‘together,’ reflective of the event’s communal nature. It is believed to have evolved from a Bön ritual, and includes a particular wooden structure marked by a phallus. Pemi Tshewang Tashi’s obedience in the context of Hierarchical and social Fabric of the Bhutanese Society. During the medieval era in Bhutan, different regions were ruled by lords called Penlops and zongpons. The three penlops were of Tongsa, Daga and Paro and the three Zongpons were of Thimphu, Wangdi and Punakha. They were roughly equal in ranks yet all yearned to become the Tongsa penlop for it was very coveted unlike other lords. Jakar Zongpon Choje Pem Tenzin bargained with Tongsa penlop Choje Dunkar Gyeltshen and central government to upgrade his rank from Zongpon to Penlop. The Tongsa Penlop sought the help of Wangdi Zongpon Andruk Nim who sent his chamberlain Pemi Tshewang Tashi and troop to Tongsa.
